New solution
for OEM applications from WIKA -
MCT-1 pressure sensor module.
With the new
MCT-1 family, WIKA has added products to its existing range of
ceramic thick film sensors that are ideally suited to the requirements
of OEM customers.
Not only do they
offer a very interesting price/performance ratio, but the customer
is also given the flexibility to choose from a variety of designs.
Distinct from
conventional ceramic thick film sensors with a non-amplified
mV output signal the MCTO-1 module features an amplified ratiometric
output signal of 0.5...4.5 V; all without sacrificing the miniature
size for which ceramic thick film sensors are favoured.
Where ease-of-mounting
is an important factor the novel, patented sealing arrangement
of the MCTH-1 provides an ideal solution. The unique integrated
sealing system allows the module to simply be clamped into the
application (screwing the sensor in using a conventional threaded
connection was intentionally avoided), saving time and money
in production, particularly when mounting is automated.
Available in
pressure ranges from 2 to 100 bar, the MCT-1 module is suitable
for a wide range of applications. The product offers a high electromagnetic
compatibility up to 100 V/m and is also manufactured in compliance
with the stringent requirements of the ISO TS 16949 standard.
